Remedial Investigations & Feasibility Studies
After preliminary investigations have confirmed the presence of contaminants that pose a threat to public health or the environment, a Remedial Investigation (RI) may be performed. Through sampling and laboratory analyses, the RI identifies the degree and route of contaminant migration and measures contamination levels in surface water, groundwater, soils, and air. The Feasibility Study (FS) uses information gathered during the RI to develop alternative remedies that will eliminate or mitigate the site's threat to public health or the environment.Latest News
