ARG Announces Brooklyn Navy Yard Cogeneration Facility Approved
ARG Announces Brooklyn Navy Yard Cogeneration Facility Approved for Induction as a Member of EPA’s National Performance Track ProgramAir Resources Group is pleased to announce that it has teamed with the Brooklyn Navy Yard Cogeneration (BNYCP) facility located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard to obtain recognition by the US EPA as a National Performance Track Member.
Acceptance by EPA into the Performance Track Program is a high honor and recognition of the member’s exceptional environmental management program; its efforts to improve environmental performance in important indicator categories; and its participation in community and public awareness of environmental issues. ARG provided services to BNYCP to conduct the necessary review of its environmental management system, to prepare the application for review, and to work with the EPA as BNYCP’s agent in the Performance Track Program. ARG is honored to have worked with the management of BNYCP for many years in assisting the plant in its environmental stewardship and compliance issues.
The US EPA will be recognizing the efforts and achievements of these Performance Track Members at a ceremony in Chicago on April 12, 2005 that will be attended by the new EPA Administrator, Stephen L. Johnson.
